IFG ORDER FORM, ORDERING INSTRUCTIONS & terms of sale

General Instructions for payment:

 

1) E-mail us before ordering with your full name and address: to make sure the original item is still available or reproduction item is still being made, also to find out the current reproduction schedule and shipping cost information.  Make sure you read through and accept the terms of sale below.

2) Send us your order details by e-mail

 

3) We accept 3 payment methods for your convenience:

  1. Credit Card thru Paypal.com 

  2. Bank wire transfer (customer pays all bank fees);   

4) NB. check the OANDA website for the current currency exchange.   

 

5) Credit Card payments online are absolutely safe, guaranteed by Paypal.com, it's easy to use internationally, just go on their site and follow instructions www.paypal.com .

 

6) When ordering remember to state at least 4 things: a) your address/phone;  b) the number/description of the item (i.e. H1 bustina gray-green wool);  c) size you need (in American or European) using our measurement chart;  d) what additions or accessories if any.

Our terms of sale are as follows:

 

Payment terms: custom orders can be paid in three convenient ways: 

  1. Payment 100% upfront before delivery, the benefit of this method is that your order receives top priority treatment, which is especially crucial when you have an event you are planning for (always let us know about that when you order);

  2. with 10% down to start and the rest on completion gives you budgeting flexibility and allows you to take advantage of that sale price before it expires;

  3. Lay-away style payment, divided equally in as many as 8 monthly installments (depending on the total purchase), your order will in most cases be ready by the time you send your last payment.  This gives you the maximum purchasing and budgetary flexibility. With this option we're making it possible for virtually anyone to own the most authentically made reproductions, including our most popular package deals and sales.

- Sales are final, you can return an unused reproduction item, within 7 days of receipt, for a same item exchange only (if there's a fit problem, or other problem, but we rigorously inspect all orders before shipping, we've not had a single case of manufacturing defect because, after all,  every item is individually made not mass-produced in a factory).  Our repros are built for service just like the originals but if the size is incorrect do not try to fit in it, stretch it, or other (damage due to misuse voids any exchange warranty).  

 

Originals (both Italian and world militaria) cannot be returned, or exchanged.  We make every effort to correctly describe and identify an item but we don't have a staff of experts.  To ensure that you can best judge for yourself, before purchasing, we provide any additional info and/or detailed photos you may require.

 

NB. Our Company sale terms and conditions statement which you agree to by making a purchase:

 

1) Items are custom made, once an order and payment are placed we cannot issue a refund under any circumstances.  So, please make sure you want the item(s) before you order and commit to purchase.  It's a binding legal agreement we will hold you to (and vice versa of course).  Thanks for your attention to this.

 

2) Remember, this is a custom order business currently operating with one tailor, so the items you get are of superior quality, bar none, but to maintain this level of quality and commitment to historical accuracy it means that on occasion there may be a delay in completion and delivery.  In the "cottage" industry of custom made historical garments this is not unusual and does not apply only to our business.  In the unlikely event that should happen, please be patient, the items on order will be of "museum quality", but above all, be confident that your order will be handled and finished to your final satisfaction.  Read our many customer comments by clicking here.

 

3) Currently our production is still on a custom order basis because the reproductions market, for the items we deal in, is not yet developed enough to warrant the considerable investment it would take to go into mass production.  But we also feel that to those whose priority is authenticity, quality and historical accuracy are worth waiting for, and our commitment is to help to fill this void in the market. Despite the constant pressure to "speed up" simply for the sake of "having it now" we continue to go the extra steps to maintain the hand-made, crafted quality that our uniforms currently have.   In other words, there are many "toysRUS" catering to reenactors out there who just want to extend their adolescence indefinitely, we are not one of them, we will not produce trash for the sake of increasing sales, So, we highly recommend that if you want to make a particular reenactment in the future (wearing our uniform) you should place your order with us a few months in advance to ensure a timely delivery.
